MicahCowan is the current maintainer/lead developer for GNU Wget. He took this position on in June of 2007, after Mauro Tortonesi, the previous maintainer announced that he was stepping down due to lack of time to devote to the position. Wget was originally written and maintained by Hrvoje Nikšić.
Note: please do not email Micah with general support questions about Wget, or patches (unless he was expecting one). These belong on the MailingLists, and while Micah likes to consider himself a helpful sort of guy, he does get busy sometimes, and reserves the right to ignore private messages that really should have been sent to the list.
